The visit of the National Drug Authority (NDA) to DEI Biopharma Limited’s facility today marks a significant milestone in not only Uganda’s but also Africa’s pharmaceutical industry.

This event, according to Dr. Mathias Magoola, the founder and Managing Director of Dei BioPharma, signals a new era of trust, technology, and African excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

 “The NDA’s presence reaffirmed what I have always believed: Africa can lead. Their trust in DEI Biopharma is not just appreciated, it is a responsibility we carry with pride and purpose,”  Dr. Magoola said during the visit by NDA officials.

He noted that the NDA’s presence at DEI Biopharma’s facility is a testament to the growing confidence in local capability and Africa’s potential to lead in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
