
Uganda and China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance technical exchange and collaboration on dam safety.
The partnership was signed on the sidelines of the International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD 2025) conference in Chengdu, China, between the China National Committee on Large Dams (CHINCOLD) and the Uganda Committee on Large Dams (UCOLD).
The MoU regarding this bilateral partnership between the two countries was signed by Dr. Wang Xiaogang the Vice President of CHINCOLD, and Dr. Harrison Mutikanga, Vice President of UCOLD, on behalf of China and Uganda respectively.
