Min. Tumwebaze to Preach Agro-Industrialisation at Stanbic Consumer Conference

The Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), Frank Tumwebaze, is set to co-host the Stanbic Consumer Conference scheduled for Tuesday, May 13th, 2025, via Microsoft Teams, starting 7:30AM-1:00PM.

Minister Tumwebaze, who will be co-hosting the conference with Paul Bitature Muganwa, the Stanbic Bank Executive Director and Head of Corporate and Investment Banking, is expected to deliver a keynote message to the nation about agro-industrialisation and how it is driving economic growth.

The Stanbic Consumer Conference is an engagement that will focus on “Accelerating the momentum towards agro-industrialisation”, a critical step in transforming Uganda’s agricultural potential into sustainable economic growth.

This is because Agro-industrialisation is critical to economic growth, particularly in a developing country like Uganda.
