
The Uganda Bankers’ Association (UBA) has appointed Mr. Wilbrod Owor,its Executive Director, as the Secretary for its Central Executive Committee, for a one-year term, spanning from 2025 to 2026.
This appointment to the UBA Central Executive Committee (CEC) is a testament to Owor’s leadership and dedication to the banking industry in Uganda.

Besides Owor, the UBA Central Executive Committee includes other members, among them Kenneth Mumba Kalifungwa, the CEO of Stanbic Bank, who was appointed Hon. Auditor, Julius Kakeeto, the CEO of Post Bank, who was reappointed Chairperson, Michael Mugabi, the CEO Housing Finance Bank is Vice Chairperson.
Other members of the CEC are: Mr. Sanjay Rughani, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank, and Mr. Shafi Nambobi, CEO of UGAFODE Microfinance Limited (MDI), and Ms. Patricia Ojangole, CEO of Uganda Development Bank.
