In the past decades, the position of Public Relations Officer (PRO) or manager was a monopoly of aging people, mostly those aged 45 and above.
However, of recent, a generation of youthful and vibrant Public Relations Officer is taking over the mantle from the old guard, thereby breathing life into the profession.
Currently, there are several youthful Public Relations officers pushing powerful brands, with many of them working for the private sector, while others work for government agencies and others for Nongovernmental Organisations (NGOs).
