As the UNDP Resident Representative for Uganda, Ms. Vwede-Obahor leads and directs UNDP’s efforts to support Uganda’s national development goals. Her impressive career spans over 20 years, with experience in development, governance, peacebuilding, human rights, and more.
From serving as the Director Program and Team Leader of the UN Integrated Strategy for the Sahel to representing the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in East Africa, Ms. Vwede-Obahor’s dedication to positive change is evident. Her journey, which includes working with UN missions in Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Afghanistan, and Darfur, demonstrates her unwavering commitment to global development.
Ms. Vwede-Obahor’s expertise in policy development, results-based programming, and partnership building makes her a force for progress.
